Yeahhhhh finally did something to my horrendous hair. I didn’t realize it looks so terrible until I decided to take a ‘before’ picture.

Look at the two different shades of brown. The Bali hairdresser really did a shitty job touching up my roots. Never doing my hair in Bali again.

After! I think the hairdresser tried her best to even out the brown. I was given a colour chart but I decided to just ask the hairdresser to choose because I trust Koreans’ taste lol. She said she would recommend me an ash colour for my skin tone.

She said maybe something like 6.01 but it wouldn’t actually look as greenish as the colour chart cause there’s alr brown in my hair. I actually want to try something lighter like 8 but hurhur maybe it doesn’t suit me. Anyway the hairdresser she would mix something for me, so I have no idea what my hair colour is lol. It just looks like normal brown to me πŸ˜… But anyway I’m happy with it. I just find my hair too short now but nvm it’ll grow out.

Other than the girl cutting my hair shorter than what I showed her, Im pretty happy! This is at iconic hair salon at raffles place. I was searching for hair salon promotions and I came across this and it had pretty good reviews on FB so I booked an appointment. The promo was $58 for color + wash + treatment. She told me I had to top up $5 for my hair length which I okay-ed. Then the hair cut turned out to be $60 and I received a minor shock when I went to pay the bill. Didn’t know the hair cut would cost so much. 😣 But overall it was $123 which is still a reasonably cheap price for cut + colour + wash + treatment. And my hair was done by two Korean ladies. Its not a Korean hair salon though. There’s a few other Singaporean/Malaysian hairdressers but luckily I got the Korean ones.

My favorite haircut is still the one I had at Cecica salon in Korea. Perfect colour and cut. πŸ‘πŸ»

Omg sian ji pua the Mango top that I bought last week got reduced from $19.90 to $12.90 πŸ˜’πŸ˜’πŸ˜’

Hiked the Henderson waves, southern ridges and mount faber today! πŸ™‚ Love this flight of colorful staircases at mount faber! It’s so happy looking πŸ™‚

According to the Nparks guide, the hiking trail starts from Marang trail at harboufront to Hortpark. But we did the trail in reverse. Skipped hortpark and started at the Alexandra arch. I personally feel it’s better doing the reverse route because Marang trail is very steep with many stairs and I’m glad I went down instead of climbing up. Took about 1h40 min in total!

You know you’ve truly aged when outings with friends become exercise trips instead of shopping trips. πŸ˜…

Best 區肉ι₯ I’ve eaten in SG! It really tastes very authentic and I personally think they gave a lot of meat compared to the one I had in ι₯Άζ²³ε€œεΈ‚. And this is only $2.50! It’s at Seah Im hawker.

Obiked home from toa payoh! Woohoo! It’s not 100% bike trail cause some parts were out on the road but I’m glad I tried it. And next time I shall just cycle to boon keng mrt iso walking like what I always used to do. I really love all these bike sharing thingies!! πŸ˜ƒ Im motivated to cycle even more πŸ˜ƒ And I personally don’t think these bike sharing companies are sustainable so must make use of all these bikes while they are still here. Honestly I don’t know how these companies are surviving :/ SG is not a cycling-friendly city because our climate is too hot. Although we have park connectors which technically allows one to cycle across the whole of SG, I still don’t think it’s enough to make cycling a main mode of transport… Unlike other countries, we don’t have a bike lane on main roads.. But bike sharing is a really good initiative and I do hope they beat the odds and continue to survive and stay here. Also, now that I finally feel somewhat comfortable with cycling, the next time I go to Korea I must go and cycle at Yeouido park!!!

Zara and Mango are having awesome sales now!! Heads up if anyone wanna buy new clothes! Now’s a good time to shop πŸ˜‰

Got this ruffles blouse from Mango which I love! It’s very me πŸ˜€

Love the blush one too but white is easier to match so I got white.

Also got this mustard dress from Zara. Aiya actually I don’t really like dresses with shift cut cause it doesn’t really flatter me… But I really like this colour and this was only $19.90 and from Zara so ok just buy. πŸ˜… $19.90 for a Zara dress is just too cheap. Zara this time is really cheap… There were many tops and bottoms going for $25.90-$29.90.

And I also got another grey cardigan from Mango. All my buys today were $19.90 each hehe awesomeeeeeeee πŸ™ƒ

Omfg my cardi is destroyed because of my bag 😭😭😭😭😭 I just bought this cardi this year 😭 From Uniqlo 😭 Idk why only the right side is affected? The left side is fine. Lesson learnt is not to buy $10 bags from Taobao 😞 I really wanted a going out bag pack so I spent a lot of time on Taobao choosing one. 😞 Fine I shall go buy a backpack with a brand. Maybe a longchamp bag pack when I go Germany. πŸ˜ͺ

Today was a pretty interesting day. Went to the airport for lunch. Couldn’t board the usual airport shuttle bus so we hitched a ride from one EC (SIA Engineering Company) van which was going to the airport. We met an EC guy on the van who told us that it was last day in the company and that he has worked here for 5 years and moving to EDB. Then we said we were going to the airport for lunch to celebrate our one year here. Wished each other all the best when we parted. Had a good lunch at the hello kitty cafe. I really love the hello kitty cafe. It’s already my third time there. πŸ˜†

My first friend in SQ πŸ™‚

It has been one long year. A mixture of good and bad. Many things have happened. Perceptions formed then altered. Thoughts established then changed. Relationships built then broken. Back when I was asking my prof for career advice, whether I should accept another company I was not so keen on but offered a rather enticing job, and whether I should just endure for two years and then jump to elsewhere, my prof said two years is actually very long. I’ve truly felt that. Even one year felt so long. Last year, I talked to colleague D on why he was leaving. He said he has worked here for one year already. I corrected him that it was one year only. But now I totally understand why he said ‘already’. 😌

Finally got down to sewing this button on my top after 1 freaking year!!!! Bought this in Korea last year but didn’t get a chance to wear this because the button dropped out but yay time to wear this out now! I like this top a lot so I’m very happy I can finally wear this πŸ˜ƒ

The weather today is so shiok I slept till almost noon πŸ˜…
